Yesterday, we heard that a dear family friend is not doing well. Memories flooded back. This man and his wife had a significant impact on my pre-teen and teen years, teaching me how to live for God, how to love God and people. Their lives were not always easy. Yet, they continued to serve. God continued to be faithful.

What stood out is God’s faithfulness throughout this friend’s life. He and his wife have served God faithfully throughout their lives. God has faithfully taken care of them.

As I think of this, I realize that we serve the same God. God is faithful today. What a wonderful God!
