This study is loosely based on the study More Like Jesus from Not Consumed.

In yesterday’s Scripture, Jesus talked about the kingdom of God. To understand more about Jesus and how to be like Him, we need to learn more about the Kingdom of God. Here are a few Scriptures that talk about what the kingdom of God is.

• Luke 9:57-62 – Through this Scripture, we see that the kingdom of God is the number one priority even through life’s various seasons. No matter what disability, weakness, or illness we have, we can still live for the kingdom of God. This makes my heart sing!
• Luke 13:18-21 – Jesus shows two examples of the kingdom of God: a mustard seed growing into a large tree or a small amount of leaven making a large amount of dough to rise.
• Luke 13:29-30 – People from all walks of life will be in the kingdom of God. Praise Him!
• Luke 17:20-21 – The Pharisees thought the kingdom of God was going to be an earthly kingdom. Jesus tells them that the kingdom will be within them.
