Joy!

What brought you joy this week?

My joy this week came in an odd place. It came in the midst of fatigue driving an hour to the hospital to be with a family member. My joy came in an ER room, waiting for test results for them. It came helping her after the ER visit

Joy, in the midst of trial. Joy.

The only way we can have joy in these circumstances is God! The drive over and back gave me much quiet time with Him. Throughout the day, we watched Him work. We watched Him do little things that made a big difference. We knew that no matter what, God was in control and knew what was ahead.

Joy. Sometimes it comes despite unusual circumstances. The book of Philippians is a book written while Paul was in prison, but it is filled with joy.

Sometimes, we sing from the shackles! Praise God for Joy!
