Prayer. Talking with God. Telling God everything knowing that He is listening and will answer.
Over the years, God has shown Himself strong in answering prayers in my life. I grew up in a ministry home with four siblings. My disability and health needs put a further strain on the budget. Through this, God taught us to rely on Him in prayer to supply our needs.
Philippians 4:19 says, “19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
We had times when we had little food and God provided. We had times when we did not have shoes and God provided. I needed a walker and God provided one out of the blue the next day which was even pink just as I had prayed for.
When you pray, pray specifically. God provides according to His will. He loves to meet the needs of His children.
The past two weeks I have been on vacation. There was much that I needed to accomplish during this time: survival tasks, end of year paperwork, preparing for the new year, deep cleaning, and most importantly rest. It seemed impossible. I prayed for wisdom. As I look over my list of what needed to be completed, I was amazed. Almost everything on the list has been completed.
