Do you sometimes get frustrated and feel trapped by limitations, responsibilities, and the cares of life?

I admit that I do. I long to do so much more than I am able. I long to not be so limited. Yet, God is in control. God has plans for us. When the times come when we feel so trapped, we can depend on the fact that His plans are better than ours.

Two passages come to mind:

• Proverbs 19:22, “²¹ There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.”
• Isaiah 55:8-9, “⁸ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. ⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

When the frustration comes, remind yourself of these verses!
