This week started as a 3-appointment week for me, with next week also being a 3-appointment week. Monday, I found out that I would have 4-appointments next week. Tuesday, I found out that I had 2 more appointments on Wednesday which meant 3 appointments that day and a 5-appointment week. Whew.
I wasn’t looking forward to working half day and then going to three appointments yesterday. The walk through Luke was encouraging as I remembered that God provides all we need. Then, there were so many God-sightings.
Because it was a “work you in” appointment on Wednesday, the test before the appointment was an hour and a half before the appointment instead of the typical 15 minutes. I have to avoid germs and allergens; food allergies ruled out the cafeteria. It is too cold to wait in the car for that long. God provided a safe place to wait and comradery with some other patients while I waited.
It was a new doctor. She was very kind and helped navigate the medication issues caused by insurance. Everyone in the office went above and beyond to resolve the situation.
Walking into the next medical appointment, another disabled gentleman brightened my day as he greeted me with a smile.
These may seem like little things, but they made a difficult day much better! God just kept bringing the things that I needed to make it through that day! We have a wonderful, faithful God!
What God-sightings have you seen this week?
