Daily Dose of Encouragement: Thank You, Father!

We are entering the final week of November and continue to focus on thankfulness.

For those who have trusted Jesus as Savior, God is our Father. Oh, how precious this is!

Let’s focus on these promises:

Psalm 68:5-6

“5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.”

Psalm 103:13-14

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

Matthew 6:28-32

“28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”

2 Corinthians 6:18

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

Let’s praise and thank God for being our Father this week!
