“4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
Abide in Jesus.
I don’t know about you, but it is so easy to try to do things on our own. However, just as a plant cannot live without being connected to the vine, neither can we live and bear fruit without being connected with Jesus.
As we face the challenges of chronic illness today, may we abide in Him to bring forth fruit in the midst. We cannot do anything in our own strength, only through His strength!
