1 Peter 5:6-7

^“6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

⁷ Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

I think it is easy for us to think that we have to do it all ourselves. We are used to having to be strong and positive. However, the truth is that we cannot do it on our own. Thinking that we can is pride. We need to humble ourselves and realize that we can only have victory each day through His strength.

This is actually good news. We can cast all of our care on Him. He cares. He will lift the burden. Wow.

God is so good!
