Learning to walk over and over again as well as adapting to new ways of doing things has happened over and over and over again as my health has changed over the years. As I contemplate that and my father’s help in the process, it made me think of having to learn to walk in love over and over again with my Heavenly Father helping me in the process.
“5 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”
Do you see it? We follow God and walk in love as Christ loved us. We give ourselves in all our weakness and human-ness as an offering for God to use. We may have to learn to do it repeatedly as life changes for us. Yet, our Heavenly Father will help us just as my dad helped me to learn to walk again and again.
May we learn to walk in love and be a sweet smelling savour for Him!
