“8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
Ever have one of those days when your strength is stretched to the limit and you aren’t sure how you will make it through the day? I have.
Ever have one of those situations where the grief of what you have lost with chronic illness or disability overwhelms you? I have.
Ever have one of those seasons when the isolation is oppressive? I have.
That is why I love today’s verse. The Lord, our amazing Lord, goes before us and yet is with us. He won’t fail us. He won’t forsake us.
There is no need to fear or be dismayed because God, the Creator, the Uncreated One, King of Kings and Lord of Lords is with us!
