It is so easy to worry and fret. I struggle with this as the challenges of the days come up. How about you?
One thing that God continues to deal with my heart about is resting in Him and realizing that He is in control. He is not worried or upset. Basically, He is teaching me to “stay in my lane.” He takes care of the situation beyond my control and too much for me. I trust Him. Life goes much better when I realize this.
Side note: I don’t mean that this gives me the right to simply sit on the couch and eat bonbons all day, but to not fret about what I cannot change.
“7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.”
Rest in Him. He has it all under control.
