Can we trust God? When things are hard or falling apart or never-ending, can we trust God? Can we rest in Him? Can we know that He has our good in mind?
“75 I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.”
The Psalmest knew that God was always just and faithful, even in affliction. He knew that God had a purpose. He also knew where to go for comfort. God’s merciful kindness is our comfort even in adversity.
God cares for us and knows us. What He does, He does for our good and His glory. He comforts us in the midst.
These verses bring comfort to my soul; I hope they will to you as well! What a mighty and awesome God!
