Have you ever felt unseen? Have you ever felt unloved?
Jesus sees you. Jesus loves you. Jesus has compassion for you. Jesus wants you to know Him and know His rest.
“35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”
Jesus was traveling about, teaching, preaching, and healing every sickness and disease. He was showing compassion. He saw the multitudes and their distress and knew each of their needs. When you feel unseen and unloved, remember that Jesus sees and loves you! He has compassion on you.
Jesus was moved with compassion. He then taught His disciples.
- What did He tell His disciples?
- What instruction did He give them?
- What should our response be to Jesus’ compassion and the needs of others?
May you know and feel Jesus’ love and compassion on your situation today.
