Love one another. We have been talking about God’s love and loving one another this month. Today’s verse brings the two together.
1 Peter 1:22, “22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:”
There are several questions that come from this passage:
- What do you see here about the love for the brethren?
- What comes before?
- What type of love should we have?
- What kind of heart should we have?
- What should the degree of our love be?
It strikes me that our relationship with God must be right in order to love one another correctly. What do you think?
