Continuing on our theme of love this month, we see that love is the most important thing.
Romans 13:8-10, “8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”
All of the commandments are summarized in one thing, “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
Maybe you are saying, “How can I love people when I am isolated, ill, and overwhelmed?” Love where God has placed you. Love anyone that He brings in your life. Ask Him to help you love others and to bring those across your path who need His love.
So simple – Love one another as yourself. And yet, so difficult. We can only do it through Jesus.
