Today, I am thankful for sales, thrift stores, and clearance items as well as friends who pass on items they no longer need that they know I do need.
From a young child when clothes were passed on through most children in our church, I realized what it meant to give to others and share as others have need. If someone in the church had a wheelbarrow or saw or trailer and someone else had a need, these items were shared freely often along with a helping hand. I grew up knowing that this is what it meant to be family, God’s family!
We all know that medical expenses are very costly meaning that we must be frugal with funds and often go without. I am thankful for my family and friends who watch carefully for needed items on sale or clearance and in thrift stores. God has used them many, many times to provide for me.
Truly, it comes down to God providing for our needs in a variety of ways!
What are you thankful for today?
