Monday Meditation: Psalm 62:7-8

Psalm 62:7-8, “In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”

I find that as someone who is isolated, disabled, and chronically ill, it is easy to depend on people to help supply needs, both physical and financial. However, all people will disappoint us at some time. They are people, not God.

When you have needs that arise, take them to God. When help falls through, take it to God. He is our strength and refuge.

We can trust Him always and pour out our heart to Him. It is okay to pour out our heart to Him. He is our refuge. He can take it.

Meditate on this as you walk through this week.
