Sin separates us from God. We need a redeemer!
Romans 10:13, “10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
Romans 3:23 says, “23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
We had no hope. We could not have a relationship with God. But God…
John 3:16, “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8, “8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Jesus made a way. While we were still filthy in our sins, God loved us. Jesus came and paid the price for our sin for us. He redeemed us.
Jesus died for us and rose again.
1 Corinthians 15:3-6, “3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”
Job 19:25, “25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:”
Jesus redeemed us. He ransomed us. If you have questions about how to have a relationship with God through Jesus our Redeemer, let me know.
As we celebrate this Christmas season, let’s remember our Redeemer Jesus!
