Jesus is the Word of God.

John 1:1, 14, “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Jesus is the Word of Life.

1 John 1:1, “1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;”

Just think… Jesus came down as a babe in the manger, but He is the Son of God. He is the Word of God. How amazing. The words Jesus spoke were the words of God. He and the Father are one.

Amazing! This just hits me hard. Think of how Jesus treated the outcasts, the lame, blind, deaf, and disabled. He loved them. He cared for them.

That is you and me. God cares. He loves. He came to the lonely and broken-hearted. God’s heart is for us.
