Grateful November, Day 26

Gratefulness: What are you thankful for today?

Today, I am thankful for Home Connections. It has been a great privilege to connect with and get to know so many of you this past year.

Daring Devotion Thoughts from Day 26: George Whitefield was a missionary both to England and America. That struck me. He was a missionary both to his own country and to those who left England.

George was nearly killed many times as he preached God’s truth of regeneration. The religious leaders of the day did not appreciate him telling them that they were dead spiritually. Instead of stopping when he was threatened, he went on to preach to the common people. He took Scripture seriously and knew that a relationship with God was imperative.

Matthew 5:11, 16, “11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Do you not just know God, but have a relationship with Him? If you would like to know more about how you can have a relationship with God, please contact us either here or through our Facebook group.
