Gratefulness: Today, I am thankful for church. Yes, church has to look much different for me than it did, but I am thankful that God’s church is not confined to the walls of a building! What are you thankful for?
Daring Devotion Thoughts from Day 5: Today’s missionaries are John and Betty Stam. This dear couple were missionaries to China who were martyred for their faith as a young couple. They stood firm and faithful until the end.
Philippians 1:20-21, “20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
They truly believed and lived these verses. Oh, that we would have this type of faith come what may!
