It is hard to believe that November is almost here! For this November, we would love to daily focus on the
- I encourage you to read Daring Devotion, by Matt Conrad. This book has… err… is changing my perspective as it looks at the lives of great Christians in the past. What has struck me is that many of them had physical, financial, and even emotional issues. They were often rejected by the mission boards to which they applied. The obstacles they faced were huge. They simply chose to look at the God who created them instead. My heart has been challenged.
The book is divided into 31 days. That means you could even start on October 31. We would love to hear from you in the comments or in our Facebook group.
- Let’s do a thankfulness challenge in November. Psalm 68:19 states, “19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” Whether it is a song, verse, attribute from God or just something that you are thankful for, let’s share one thing each day either in the comments or in the Facebook group!
- Our Bible studies in November will center around Joy, working through the book of Philippians. It will be based on highlights from the study Joy in the Midst. by Carrie Gaul. There is no need to purchase the book. The studies will be stand-alone.
For November, let’s focus on being Thankful, Grateful, and Blessed! Let’s focus on God!
