When hard times or uncertainties come, what is your reaction? Do you waver in your faith? Do you “flinch”? Do you doubt? I do sometimes.

Abraham had been told he would be the father of many nations, but now he was old with no children. Did he flinch in his faith? Nope.

Romans 4:20-21, “²⁰ He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; ²¹ And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”

Did you see that? Abraham simply believed. He was “fully persuaded.” He knew His God and that His God kept His promises.

Oh that we would stand firm in belief. What an example of faith! Our God is a faithful and awesome God. He keeps His promises.
