Psalm 34:8: “⁸ O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Hunger and thirst are something we experience daily. In my quiet time today, I was struck with the fact that I should be more hungry and thirsty for the word of God, for God Himself.

Psalm 42:1-2: “42 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. ² My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?”

Psalm 107:9: “⁹ For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.”

I pray that God will give us this hunger and thirst for Him, for His Word, for our relationship with Him. He will satisfy!
