This week, I have seen God’s faithfulness in the midst of chronic illness flares and “Murphy’s Law.” It was a week of seeing His faithfulness not in a big showy way, but in a quiet way. The excitement from last week left me weaker and with infection this week. In the midst of that, life happened with equipment failure, getting behind, etc., etc. It was just a lot all at once when you don’t feel well.
Yet, I will praise Him. As I was getting overwhelmed this week, God reminded me that He was still in control and not worried. He gave simple grace and strength through it. Shifting my focus helped and Lamentations 3:22-24 came to mind. (KJV)
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
Great is His faithfulness! How have you seen God’s faithfulness this week?
