God’s Gift of Ministry

One of the things that I struggled with a lot after isolation began was a way to serve. I mean, as a PK (Preacher’s Kid) service was hard-wired into us from a young age and here I sat in the house, weak and struggling. God has been walking with me on this journey and showing me ways to serve.

Today, I was reading 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. Look at verse 18! As the redeemed children of God, God has given us a ministry of reconciliation. We are also to be His ambassadors (verse 20). Just think of it. The God of the universe is giving even us – the weak, home-bound, disabled – a ministry. Not just any ministry, but that of reconciliation, of ambassadors for Him.
